Update: COVID-19 and Extra Teeth
Dear Teethers,
So here's the whole tooth: we've been a bit quiet lately, due to the uncertainty of the world right now and our magazine's place in it. We took a bit of a breather, but we're back.
We are so excited to bring you Issue Two, planned originally for end May. To no one's surprise, we're sure, we have made the decision to delay for the time being. We can't wait for you to read these twelve new stories and essays alongside illustrations by David Lemm. It's coming, rest assured.
We know our subscribers from Kickstarter and our website will understand our reasons for this, and we'll take care of the admin side. We'll keep getting it ready, so as soon as the time is right we hit go.
We made the decision to pay our authors early to help the artists during the upheaval and mass disappearance of work. We’ve also relaxed the terms on outstanding invoices to our stockists to help support the independent businesses who carry Extra Teeth until they can reopen safely. These are just a couple of small things we could do to help people who make Extra Teeth happen, so we did.
But we still need your support in these uncertain times. If you can, we'd love it if you would consider subscribing to Extra Teeth - Issue One will be posted out to you right away! If you already have Issue One but would like to subscribe from Issue Two onwards, please just put a note in with your online order and we'll sort the admin. You can also buy Issue One or pre-order Issue Two separately, and we also have tote bags!
Every magazine sale helps secure us now and in the future, if you can please support independent businesses during this crisis! Just yell if you have any questions to hello@extrateeth.co.uk. In the meantime, we're working with our contributors from Issues One AND Two to bring you some exciting new content for our socials.
Thanks for bearing with us, and for all your support so far. We know we’ll be hitting go on those printing presses before too long.
Very best meantime
Jules, Heather & Esther
